What? The Towners are moving again...?
Yes, it's true. Our time has come to an end as Interim Pastors of Tierra Prometida Church of Sauk Centre, Minnesota, and we are preparing to moving again. Where are we going? We don't know yet. Once again, we feel like Abraham. God told him to go but He didn't exactly say where. Abraham knew God would eventually show him, and we know that He will show us too.
Anyway, this will be the Towner family's number 35th move (more or less) in 33 years! We have always had a roof over our heads, and the Lord has always provided for us as we have served Him. We went from place to place in Mexico, Spain, and now among Hispanics in the USA, pioneering many new churches and ministries and raising up leaders. It is not easy to always be "working ourselves out of a job". The sad good byes are hard, as is the challenge of packing and adjusting to new places, but it is a tremendous privilege to have this missionary call of God on our lives!
We embrace God's Word that He has faithfully prepared before us a new place and good works for us to do. Please pray for us for peace, provision, and direction.

Johnny (14) and Anne Carolyn (17) are still in our home. Johnny is home schooled, and Anne Carolyn is doing her last two years of high school online through Northwestern College. Ruthie (middle) is majoring in TESOL and minoring in Spanish and Art at the University of Wisconsin, River Falls.

(JB Lewis Photography) Our son Daniel, an engineer in Houston, is engaged to a wonderful girl named Ruby Romero. The wedding is planned for next May. Finally, we're getting a real Hispanic in the family after so many years in this culture!

The big moment arrives! Who is taller? Silence and drum roll.... Sorry, Dan. He graciously concedes his "tallest Towner" position to his little brother!

Jim visiting the Woolridges at their home in Becker, near Minneapolis. Michael travels to work in the North Dakota oilfields. Laura is a stay-at-home mom and an artsy and creative Zumba dance teacher. And she is pregnant with another grandchild! Archangela appears to be following in her mom's footsteps. Little Abigail is crazy about "Poppa" Jim". It is such a joy to live near our children and grandchildren and to see them following the Lord!

Matthew and Elisa Berry recently bought a house in Saint Paul, Minnesota, so we see them often. Matthew is a computer engineer and Elisa, pregnant with another grandson, stays at home with her two very active boys, Noah and Judah. The Berrys also love the Lord and are starting home churches.
